Saint John’s Catholic Prep is home to many amazing student-athletes including Samuel Martini. Sam began his Saint John’s athletic career as a freshman on the JV soccer team. He eventually branched out to other sports, such as indoor track and golf. However, Sam says soccer will always be his favorite sport because of his love for his teammates.
Soccer has helped Sam get out of some dark places. “I had long been lost in the depths of despair, but through soccer, I found a new passion for living.” Now, Sam is able to excel in not only soccer, but many other sports as well. Most recently, Sam joined the golf team, which he says is “going pretty well right now,” and describes as his most successful sports season.
