Rising senior Kelly Karanvovich is known as a beast on the SJCP softball team. She plays 1st base and is also a catcher. She started playing for SJCP as a way to get involved. “ I honestly wasn’t going to play in high school, but I decided I wanted to get involved with the school. Also, a lot of my friends were playing so I decided I wanted to.” As a member of the softball team, not only does she bring her talent to the field, but she never fails to bring a smile to others’ faces.
When recounting her memories she said, “The best part of being involved in picking up your teammates and making memories with your friends and coaches.” Kelly’s dedication is shown throughout the season from coming to practice and giving it her all, to being the only catcher on the team.
